Acoustics By Design Raises the Roof with Habitat for Humanity

Acoustics By Design sponsored a local home building project in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit organization that provides affordable housing for low income families. Other donors and participants included East Grand Rapids High School students, Bissell, Inc., and The University of Michigan Club of Grand Rapids. The two-story home features three bedrooms, 1½ baths, and a nice kitchen and living room. A dedication ceremony was recently held at the home with the volunteers, sponsors, and the homeowner. The ceremony culminated with the presentation of a Bible and house keys to the new homeowner, a working single mother whose tears said it all.

In addition to supporting this local building project, Acoustics By Design sponsors a hole at the annual AIA Grand Valley Golf Outing at Thornapple Point Golf Club. The event raises funds for our local Kent County chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
